“A stunningly told story of life and death, of light and darkness, of pain and joy… of all the terrible and lovely things we get to experience for being alive. This made me emotional, but not in a crying way, in more of a hopeful way. Nothing is forever, but somehow, everything is forever. This play is moving, speaking poetry. 10/10.”
—Gracie Everett, review of the script on New Play Exchange
Constantine is an advanced android, indistinguishable from a human. Nora is his partner, a genetically modified human. Together, they set sail across a sea of stars.
When Nora contracts a deadly virus, Constantine makes an impossible choice: he places her in cryofreeze until they can find a civilization advanced enough to cure her.
How long could that possibly take? A few years? A hundred? Almost ten million?

A hilariously campy send-up to the serialized pulp of the golden age of science fiction, Destination: Saturn! is our own adaptation of an internet lost media legend. This event will be a fundraiser for AQD in September of 2026. More info to come!
Stay tuned for our announcement for our final mainstage production of the year! We’ll be back at the ZACC in December of 2026.
